What better way to soak up the local culture than through food?

Good news – you don't need to scour the pubs of London to find authentic British grub, you can get it right here on campus.

Fish and Chips at Fourth Floor Restaurant 🐟

Head to the fourth floor of the Old Building to tuck into this classic, must-try dish. Expect golden and crispy battered fish served with proper thick-cut chips. Don't forget to add some salt, vinegar and some tartar sauce for the full authentic experience.

Jacket Potatoes at Shaw Café 🥔

The iconic British lunch-time meal. The perfect baked potato has to have a crispy skin on the outside and be soft and fluffy on the inside, and you can expect just that at Shaw Café. You can top them with just about anything, but we recommend the classic combo of jacket potato and baked beans - only 2.75!

Scotch Egg at Cooper's 🥚

Have you even been to the UK if you haven't tried a Scotch egg? Cooper's has elevated this well-known picnic snack consisting of an egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs and fried for that satisfying crunch, served here with some tangy tomato chutney.
