The iconic British lunch-time meal. The perfect baked potato has to have a crispy skin on the outside and be soft and fluffy on the inside, and you can expect just that at Shaw Café. You can top them with just about anything, but we recommend the classic combo of jacket potato and baked beans - if you're using a LSE Food Passport, you can get yours for just £1.50!

Throughout the week they'll also be serving up comforting dishes like cottage pie and other traditional pies, so keep your eye on the menus. 

Scotch Egg at Cooper's 🥚

Have you even been to the UK if you haven't tried a Scotch egg? Cooper's has elevated this well-known picnic snack consisting of an egg wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs and fried for that satisfying crunch, served here with some tangy tomato chutney. 

Cooper's take on Eton Mess 🍓

Have a sweet tooth? Cooper's also has some delicious homemade sweet treats to enjoy like their Kent strawberries, meringue and Chantilly cream dessert. This combo is the bases of an 'Eton Mess', an English summer dessert traditionally served at cricket matches. Plus, the strawberries this season are tastier than ever!
