This October, we're bringing you flavours from around the world to celebrate Black History Month. Head to our restaurants to try exclusive themed dishes from the Caribbean to West Africa.

Dishes including...
- Curried goat
A dish that originated in the Indian subcontinent but is now a staple in Caribbean and Southeast Asian cuisines.
- Jollof rice
A one-pot dish that originated in Senegal and has become one of the most well-known West African foods.
- Chicken tagine
A North African dish, named after the earthenware pot in which it is cooked.
- Beef suya
Popular Nigerian street food made of spiced, charred beef.
Fourth Floor Restaurant
🗓 Every Wednesday
Dishes including...
- Brown chicken stew
A traditional Caribbean, particularly Jamaican, dish with rich and aromatic flavours.
- West African peanut stew
It is believed that this dish originated among the Mandinka people of Mali, who would grind roasted peanuts into a paste and use it as a base for stews.
- South African chicken curry
Known for its delicate sweet and savoury twist, usually served with fragrant rice.

Dishes including...
- Jambalaya
A dish associated with Louisiana, USA which can be made Creole style (generally made like this in New Orleans) or Cajun style (common in the state's southern bayou country).
- Fried red snapper
Infused with the flavours typical of the Caribbean islands.
- BBQ pork belly with roasted sweet potato
A delicious combination of salty and sweet in one dish.

What's happening in halls?
Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about celebrating in halls too. This Wednesday, make sure to try one of our Black History Month inspired dishes from your halls menu.
Looking for a comforting vegan or veggie dish? Try our Karma' cauliflower curry inspired by the vibrant and spicy flavours of the Caribbean, or opt for a slice of hearty macaroni pie. If you're in the mood for something lighter, why not try the Caribbean-style market fish? Or, treat yourself to some succulent, crispy southern fried chicken (halal).
