We are committed to ensuring that the food we serve meets your individual needs.
We make every effort to accommodate everyone and aim to provide high-quality products and offer choice, value and variety. Here's a list of the diet options available on campus.
There is a wide range of veggie options available in all of our outlets. All restaurants have at least one vegetarian option every day and sandwiches, wraps and snacks are readily available in our cafés.
Make sure to check out our fully plant-based eatery, The Shaw Café.
Plant-based meals and options are available in most outlets and restaurants. The Shaw Café is our plant-based and vegetarian outlet where you can find delicious healthy dishes.
If you need any more guidance please ask a member of staff.
Gluten-free sandwiches are available in many outlets. Dishes not containing any gluten in their ingredients are marked as 'No Gluten Containing Ingredients' (NGCI).
If you have any questions relating to allergens, please ask a member of the team and they will be pleased to help you.
There is a wide range of food offered across campus, including low-fat, nutritious options. Each outlet sells various healthy dishes and all offer salads, vegetables, fresh fruit and choices of protein.
We actively promote Fairtrade products. Tea, coffee and sugar in all of our catering outlets is ethically traded and Fairtrade refreshments are served at all conferences and events.

If you have an allergy
All of our staff are trained in food intolerances and allergens. Full details of the allergens in our food are available in the outlets. Our kitchens handle a wide variety of ingredients and food stuffs, so if your allergy is severe, we advise you to talk to one of our team.
If you have any food intolerances and allergens or want to know more, always ask a member of staff. We're here for you.
