LSE's top spots for coffee lovers

Whether you're looking for a quick espresso on the go or a creamy cappuccino to sit with in a cosy study corner, a good cup of coffee can make all the difference to your day.

Luckily, we have no shortage of great coffee spots on campus that won't disappoint when it comes to your caffeine fix, like...

The Bean Counter

📍Lower Ground Floor, Sir Arthur Lewis Building

One of our hidden gems on campus, this café is nestled away from the hustle and bustle above, making it a go-to spot for students who want to get immersed in their work, fuelled by good coffee.

Beaver's Brew

📍The Marshall Building

If you're looking for a coffee that does good, then head to our fully plastic-free café. Serving coffee by Bridge Coffee Roasters, the beans we brew here help support small growers and farmers. So this spot is great for anyone who wants to drink good coffee and feel good about it.

Beveridge Café

📍Centre Building

Located at the heart of campus, Beveridge is a popular stop-off coffee spot for studiers, with a large study space just behind the café. So whether you're on the way to a lecture or want to sit in and relax, Beveridge Café is a must-try.

LSE Garrick

📍Houghton Street

After something a little more indulgent? Head to the LSE Garrick where they use Brazil Santa Izabel beans for a chocolatey and sweet flavour to their brews.

The Shaw Café

📍54 Lincoln's Inn Fields

Whether you're vegan, vegetarian or just love an oat milk latte, our fully plant-based café has got you covered. All of the hot drinks here are served with alternative milks and taste just as delicious.

P.S. They pair perfectly with our vegan and veggie bakes and pastries.

Plaza Café

📍John Watkins Plaza

If you're a fan of cafés with natural light, Plaza Café has floor to ceiling windows so you can watch the LSE world go by while sipping on your favourite coffee. Or if it's sunny, choose to enjoy it on one of the outdoor benches!
